Description

Diego Maradona: The Last Interview and Other Conversations by MELVILLE HOUSE is a candid collection of interviews that span the breadth of Maradona's life and career. This book provides an extremely candid accounting of his rollercoaster life, including his struggles with drug addiction, his experiences playing for Napoli, and his views on Lionel Messi. The conversations included in this book offer a unique insight into Maradona's thoughts on the governance of world soccer, as well as his worries about the impact of Covid on the world's poor. Readers will also discover encounters with notable figures such as Pele and Gary Lineker, who played against Maradona in the 1986 England-Argentina game. With many translations into English for the first time, this book is a valuable addition to any collection of sports literature or biography.
