Didsbury Through Time offers a fresh perspective on the history of this Manchester suburb. Local artist and author Peter Topping and historian Andrew Simpson have combined old images with new photographs to reveal the lives of those who lived in Didsbury's fine buildings over the past century. Through their unique blend of historical and visual content, the authors bring to life the people behind the doors of Didsbury's historic homes. The result is a fascinating account of change and continuity in this rapidly evolving area. By exploring the history of Didsbury through photographs and paintings, this book provides a new insight into the lives of those who have lived and worked there over the years.
