Description

December by Alexander Kluge and Gerhard Richter is a unique collection of stories and photographs for the darkest month of the year. Drawing from modern history, mythology, and meteorology, these 39 tales explore themes of time, space, and human powerlessness in the face of circumstance. Kluge's narratives weave together seemingly disparate elements to create a sense of unease and uncertainty, while Richter's photographs capture the wintry landscapes that accompany them. The result is an unsettling yet instructive reading experience, one that challenges readers to confront the complexities of our world. This collection offers a fresh perspective on the human condition, one that is both thought-provoking and hauntingly beautiful.
