Description

Foster James wakes up in a strange country house with a hangover from hell. He assumes he's been sent to rehab again, but things take a dark turn when he's punched by Ernest Hemingway. As Foster navigates this bizarre institution, he must confront the possibility that he may be dead. A group therapy session with other writers, including Hunter S. Thompson and Samuel Taylor Coleridge, suggests that Foster's situation is more dire than he thought. However, after a surprising encounter with Dorothy Parker, he begins to feel alive again. As tensions rise between the enigmatic doctors who run the institution, Foster and the other writers must work together to uncover the truth. Set in a place where creativity and addiction are inextricably linked, Dead Writers in Rehab is a darkly humorous tale of survival and redemption.
