Description
Curatorial Dreams: Imagine Exhibitions by Museum Critics A collection of innovative exhibitions inspired by research and critical concerns from social sciences and humanities disciplines. This book brings together fourteen authors who propose concrete, imaginative projects for museums, scientific institutions, art galleries, and everyday sites across various countries. The essays explore the process of conceptualizing exhibitions, pushing boundaries of museology, and proposing unique modes of engagement that enrich public scholarship and dialogue. By examining political and practical constraints, imaginative freedom, and experimental exhibition design, Curatorial Dreams charts new ground in museum studies, offering a fresh perspective on the role of museums in society.
