Myles Coverdale's Psalter is a translation of the Psalms that has endured for centuries. Although the rest of the Bible was replaced by the Authorized Version in the Church of England, Coverdale's familiar translation remained in the Book of Common Prayer and continues to be used in England to this day. This edition follows the text in the English 1662 BCP and includes the canticles for morning and evening prayer. A unique feature of this edition is the subtle lining to facilitate chanting, with notation of a tone from the Sarum Tonale provided for each psalm.
