Description
Cornelia is an epic slice of history that explores 1970s American politics through the story of Cornelia Folsom, a beautiful and ambitious beauty queen. As she works her way into the heart of Governor George Wallace's inner circle, Cornelia and the governor plan to take over the state and then the White House. However, no obstacle is too great for Cornelia to overcome, as she secretly harbors her own political ambitions amidst a hostile campaign staff, her rarely sober mother, and the challenges of Southern politics. This sweeping tale of sex, power, and American politics is a provocative exploration of one woman's determination to succeed in a male-dominated world. With its focus on female ambition and the complexities of 1970s American politics, Cornelia offers a compelling insight into a pivotal moment in history.
