Description
Victor Vollmer has moved from paperboy to copyboy at the newspaper, but his duties are soon disrupted by a final request from Mr. Spiro, the man who helped him overcome his stutter. This sets Victor on a journey hundreds of miles from home, towards a gathering storm. As he navigates an unfamiliar world, Victor meets a girl who is strong, smart and bold. Together, they face challenges that test their courage and wits, including a perilous race to evade a hurricane. Along the way, Victor discovers what the fates have in store for him. This book is a sequel to Paperboy, a Newbery Honor-winning novel, and has been selected as a Junior Library Guild title.
