Description
Conversations with Meister Eckhart is an imagined conversation with 13th century mystic Meister Eckhart, exploring themes such as detachment, spirituality, God, the soul and suffering.
Eckhart's teachings are often misunderstood as a system, but in reality they represent an adventure - a call to seek truth beyond established dogma. His words, though written over seven centuries ago, remain authentic and thought-provoking.
Simon Parke's introduction sheds light on Eckhart's tumultuous life, including his trial before the pope and the church's attempts to suppress his teachings. This book offers a unique opportunity to engage with Eckhart's profound ideas in an accessible and engaging way.
