Description
The curtain is about to go up on a Women's Guild variety and dramatic show when disaster strikes. One of the leads loses her voice, setting off a chain of calamities that are only partially alleviated by well-meaning but embarrassing offers of help. As the situation spirals out of control, all seems lost - until it doesn't. In the end, Clara emerges with a newfound skill and a fresh perspective on the world behind the curtains. This 34-page play is part of the Samuel French Ltd collection of drama texts from the early 20th century.
