Description
Cinco de Mayo is a celebration that brings people together. It commemorates a significant victory for the Mexican Army in 1862 and has become a holiday with its own unique traditions.
Some people mark the day with folk dancing, traditional foods like chalupas and mole poblano, or by watching parades and attending cultural festivals. This book explores how different communities celebrate this shared holiday in their own ways.
Discover how Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a diverse and vibrant celebration that reflects the rich heritage of Mexico and its people.
