The mystery surrounding his vanishing fuels her recollections, dreams, and speculations, which are set against the backdrop of Saigon's Chinatown. A novel-in-progress, titled I'm Yellow, serves as a poignant parallel to the author-narrator's own experiences, exploring themes of identity and escape.
