Description
Cameras for Collectors by Scott Faragher is a comprehensive guide to some of the most significant cameras ever produced. Spanning from the 1930s through the 1990s, this book showcases iconic American brands such as Imperial, Kodak, and Polaroid, alongside early models from Beacon, Packard, and Falcon. The book covers a range of camera types, including rangefinder, viewfinder, single lens reflex, foldouts, instants, premiums, plastic art cameras, and disposables. It also delves into the world of movie cameras, featuring American brands like Bell & Howell, Kodak, Revere, DeJur, Technicolor, and Keystone, as well as Japanese models from Yashica and Chinon, and Swiss-made Bolex. For collectors, this book provides valuable information on where to find these cameras, what to pay for them, and how to start or add to your own collection.
