Description

Michael Wright's memoir tells the story of his journey to start anew in rural France. After giving up his comfortable life in South London, he embarked on a solo adventure to restore a dilapidated 15th century farmhouse.

In this humorous and heartwarming account, Wright chronicles his struggles with everyday tasks, such as caring for livestock, and his attempts to adapt to life abroad alone. Along the way, he discovers what it means to be a man in the 21st century, despite his physical limitations.

With its lighthearted tone and vivid descriptions of rural French life, this book is a celebration of the simple pleasures of being alive. It's a story about finding one's place in the world and embracing the beauty of everyday moments.
