Description

Bubba and the Cosmic Blood-Suckers / Bubba Ho-Tep is now available in paperback for the first time. This collection includes two stories by Joe R. Lansdale, one of which inspired the cult-classic film starring Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis. In this book, Elvis Presley finds himself battling interdimensional beings at the behest of his manager, Colonel Parker. He is joined on this journey by a group of unlikely allies, including Blind Man, Jack, John Henry, Johnny Smack, and Jenny Jo Dallas. As they travel to New Orleans, they must face the Big Mama, who seeks to drain their "Jacked-Up Mojo". Meanwhile, in another story, Elvis spends his golden years at a retirement home alongside a man claiming to be President John F. Kennedy. Joe R. Lansdale is a prolific author of novels and short stories, with over three hundred published works. His writing has appeared in numerous anthologies, magazines, and collections, as well as foreign publications.
