Description
In May 1944, a young violinist's life is turned upside down as he flees from the Nazis. With the Gestapo closing in, he discovers a hidden cave in western France that becomes his refuge. There, amidst ancient cave drawings and an underground river fed by soothing hot springs, he finds temporary peace. However, his stay is short-lived, as he soon joins the French Resistance to take part in daring missions against the Germans. At the same time, a young Romani girl escapes from Auschwitz and embarks on a perilous journey back to France. The paths of these two teenagers, from vastly different backgrounds, are destined to cross under circumstances that will forever change their lives. As they navigate the treacherous landscape of war-torn Europe, they must confront their own identities and the complexities of their relationships with each other. This heart-wrenching story explores the struggles of two young people caught in the midst of one of history's darkest periods.
