Description
Tom's life is in shambles after his girlfriend's tragic death. With her powerful family convinced he's responsible, Tom goes on the run, seeking refuge in a remote moorland pub called the Bothy. However, news of the bounty on his head travels quickly, even in the most isolated locations. As Tom tries to keep his situation under wraps, tensions rise among the pub's inhabitants, revealing buried fears and rivalries that simmer just below the surface. Amidst moments of dark humour and rare tenderness, the atmosphere becomes increasingly claustrophobic, building towards a heart-stopping climax. Trevor Mark Thomas's first novel is a gripping, violent drama that explores the desperate choices people make when their lives are on the line.
