Description

Beyond Hillsborough is a powerful and poignant play that explores the personal consequences of living with the Hillsborough tragedy. Written in 2012, it brings together the stories of survivors, bereaved family members, politicians, police, journalists, and others who were affected by the disaster. The play is based on extensive interviews with those involved, including transcripts taken directly from the voices of the people who lived through this traumatic event. It is a deeply personal and honest portrayal of the impact of Hillsborough on individuals and communities. A portion of the royalties from sales will support the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, the Hillsborough Family Support Group, and Hope for Hillsborough, ensuring that the story continues to be told with integrity and compassion.
