Description
Belfast Through Time explores the city's rich history and development over time. From its origins as a settlement on low-lying land to its current status as a bustling industrial city, Belfast has undergone significant changes. The city's transformation is evident in its architecture, with grand villas and public buildings standing alongside factories and suburbia. Many of these scenes remain remarkably unchanged, offering a glimpse into the character of the city during its industrial heyday. However, recent redevelopments have altered many locations, leaving some areas unrecognisable. This book provides a unique insight into Belfast's history and development, showcasing the city's evolution over time through photographs and other visual elements.
