Description

Bare Lit is a powerful anthology that brings together award-winning British authors of color. Edited by Kavita Bhanot, Courttia Newland, and Mend Mariwany, this collection showcases the work of literary luminaries who share the values and mission of the Bare Lit Festival. The festival, founded in 2016, was the first ever literary and author festival featuring only UK writers of color. The anthology collects short stories and poetry that represent the diversity and talent of these authors. All proceeds from this book go directly towards supporting the Bare Lit Festival, ensuring that its mission to promote authors of color continues. By purchasing Bare Lit, you're not only gaining access to a unique and compelling collection of literature, but also contributing to the festival's ongoing efforts to amplify underrepresented voices in British literature.
