Description
When an erupting Icelandic volcano grounds all flights in and out of Europe, four vacationing Americans find themselves forced to confront their personal problems. Whitney and Will, a seemingly perfect couple, are about to announce their engagement but have agreed to a lighthearted experiment: three romantic "free passes" before getting married. As they prepare for the last night of their Barcelona vacation, they agree to share details of these harmless trysts. However, their plans are soon disrupted by the volcano's ash cloud, which grounds all flights indefinitely. Trapped in Barcelona, Whitney and Will must navigate their relationships with a star basketball player and a foreign exchange student, testing the boundaries of their own connection. Over the next three days, they will use and be used by their new friends, re-examining the foundations of their relationship. Can it survive the challenges that have brought them together?
