Baila, baila, baila

Baila, baila, baila by Haruki Murakami In 1983, a young protagonist embarks on a journey to revisit certain scenes from his past in an attempt to settle old scores. He travels to Sapporo with the intention of staying at the Hotel Delfín, where he spent a memorable week with a mysterious woman who vanished without explanation. However, upon arrival, he discovers that the hotel has been demolished and replaced by a modern, luxurious alternative. As he settles into his new surroundings, the protagonist encounters a cast of characters shrouded in an aura of unreality: a stunning receptionist with unexplained experiences, a sensitive teenager, and a former classmate turned successful actor. His stay is marked by a series of surreal events, including murders, trips to Hawaii, and journeys to other worlds, all set to the rhythm of music playing on his battered Subaru's radio. Despite the chaos that surrounds him, the protagonist comes to realize that everything is connected, and that returning to the Hotel Delfín is the only way to start anew.
