Description
Arab Archery is an ancient Arabic manuscript that provides a comprehensive understanding of medieval archery in the Orient. Written by an expert bowman, this treatise offers valuable insights into long-range artillery and its significance in the history of eastern empires. Translated into English for the first time, Arab Archery sheds light on information previously hidden for centuries. This authoritative work is considered nearly contemporary with Roger Ascham's Toxophilus, a famous book on archery written in 1542-1543 and published in 1544. A valuable resource for those interested in archery, Arab Archery could be used as a textbook today. With its thorough and detailed content, this manuscript provides a unique perspective on the subject of medieval archery.
