Description
Thomas Aquinas Among the Protestants provides a fresh perspective on the influence of Aquinas on Protestant thought. This book brings together influential scholars to demonstrate how Anglican, Lutheran, and Reformed thinkers have analyzed and used Thomas's work over the centuries. The authors challenge the common assumption that Aquinas is an irrelevant figure in the history of Protestantism, instead opening up new possibilities for contemporary reception, engagement, and critique. The book offers valuable insights into the fruitful appropriation of Aquinas by theologians across different denominations. With contributions from leading scholars, Aquinas Among the Protestants is a groundbreaking work that sheds new light on Thomas Aquinas's position in Christian thought and provides a unique perspective on intra-Protestant relations.
