Description

The south country beckoned, and Gabe and Ezra answered. A re-supply trip to Santa Fe became an encounter with two tribes that would change their journey forever. Their initial meeting with the Tabeguache Ute and Caputa Ute was followed by a massacre at a Mexican Hacienda, leading to an attack by renegade Jicarilla Apache. This event revealed a thriving trade in captives and slaves, sparking outrage among Gabe and Ezra. When a garrison of Mexican Soldados intervened, the situation became complicated, with unexpected twists and turns. As slave traders, Comancheros, and impostors mingled with the soldiers, what began as a simple re-supply journey turned into a vengeance quest. The Apache ambush that derailed the mission would ultimately require a rescue expedition, leaving all involved to confront the true nature of their actions.
