Description
Six weeks have passed since angels descended to destroy the world. Street gangs rule and fear reigns at night. When Penryn's sister is taken by warrior angels, she'll do anything to get her back.
Penryn makes a desperate deal with an enemy angel, Raffe, who lies broken and wingless on the street. Together, they journey through a dark and twisted Northern California, relying only on each other for survival. Their goal is the angels' stronghold in San Francisco, where Penryn will risk everything to rescue her sister and Raffe will put himself at the mercy of his enemies for a chance to be made whole again.
