Description

Anderswo / Elsewhere by Petra Barth is a photographic exploration of the author's journey to unfamiliar places and the memories that remain. Through her lens, Barth weaves together personal recollections with stories from others, creating an intimate connection between past and present. The images in Anderswo reflect the author's fascination with shadow and light, as well as her affinity for the countryside and the unknown. By capturing moments of everyday life, Barth has preserved memories that might otherwise be forgotten. This collection is a testament to the power of photography to hold onto the past and reveal new perspectives. With each photograph, Barth invites the viewer to reflect on their own relationship with memory and place. The result is a poignant and thought-provoking work that explores the complexities of human experience through the lens of a camera.
