Description
A man's life is forever changed after losing his daughter in a tragic accident. As he struggles to come to terms with this new reality, he finds himself questioning everything - including the world around him. In Tim Crouch's critically acclaimed play, An Oak Tree, the boundaries between reality and performance are blurred. The story revolves around two actors who take to the stage without having read or rehearsed their lines. As they navigate the script, they begin to uncover the true nature of their roles - and themselves. This poignant exploration of identity and performance is both shocking and thought-provoking. Published in 2023, An Oak Tree was performed at the Avignon Festival, France, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, before being released as a book.
