Description

Aim at the Centaur Stealing Your Wife is Jennifer Nelson's first full-length collection of poetry. This debut work showcases her unique blend of free verse and art historical references, tackling the anxieties of a post-Great Recession generation while drawing on traditional resources. Nelson's compositions display a restless energy, tumbling between slangy, modern concerns and the resources of traditional art history. Her poetry is notable for its volatile style, which will appeal to readers looking for a fresh voice in contemporary verse. With 83 pages of thought-provoking poetry, Aim at the Centaur Stealing Your Wife offers a unique perspective on the intersection of art and identity.
