Description

Otto Frank's journey home from Auschwitz began on 27 January 1945. However, it was only then that he started to uncover the truth about what had happened to his wife Edith, daughters Margot and Anne, and the four others who were hiding with him in the Annex at Prinsengracht in Amsterdam: Herman and Auguste van Pels, their son Peter, and dentist Fritz Pfeffer. The months that followed revealed a devastating reality: Otto Frank was one of the few survivors out of these eight people. After the Annex continues his quest for answers, meticulously researching archives and eyewitness accounts to piece together what happened to Anne Frank and her companions after their arrest in the Nazi death camps.
