Description

AA Bronson's House of Shame explores the artist's recent works, from 2013 to 2018, which reveal his efforts to create a new community through art. This collection includes a nocturnal secret ritual, a woven tent where the artist shares traumas, and other thought-provoking pieces. The book is divided into two parts: a monographic section featuring an essay and interview with the artist, alongside the works and exhibitions; and a second part where friends describe Bronson's five years of community life. This unique perspective offers insight into the social dimension of his work. Through this overview, AA Bronson's House of Shame sheds light on the artist's journey to rebuild friendship and community after the loss of his General Idea partners in 1994.
