Description
A Celestial Affair by Daphne Neville is set in Cornwall, where the peaceful fishing village is about to face an influx of tourists for the solar eclipse. Twelve years have passed since Trengillion was covered in snow, and much has changed. The village school's headmaster has retired, and the inn is under new ownership. As businesses prepare for the expected half a million visitors, the residents are unaware that this event will bring more than just a large influx of holiday makers. This sixth book in a series of seven set on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula spans sixty years, covering a significant period in the village's history. The story is part of a larger narrative that explores the changing times and people of Cornwall over six decades.
