Description

A Carol for our Times by David Blackwell is a thought-provoking carol that explores the theme of refugees and their plight. Drawing parallels with the stories of Christ's birth, this piece roots itself in tradition while encouraging us to consider our present. The carol features contrasting textures and changing metres, while a soft, reflective refrain stands steadfastly in triple metre. This unaccompanied SATB arrangement is perfect for those looking to add depth and meaning to their worship or musical practice. Sheet music format makes this piece easily accessible for singers and musicians alike, allowing them to focus on the emotional resonance of the carol rather than technical complexity.
