Description

The city's hidden history can be found in its abandoned spaces. These neglected areas are a testament to the constant evolution of urban landscapes, yet development often struggles to eradicate them entirely. In "Wastelands", Dan Dubowitz and Edgar Martins explore these transient features of modern cities, revealing the stories they tell about society and its future. The photographs and accompanying text form a unique collection that sheds light on the enduring presence of these areas in contemporary urban life. Through their work, Dubowitz and Martins demonstrate how these spaces can be seen as a permanent aspect of the city's fabric, reflecting both the beauty and the challenges of urban development.
