Description
Charlie's life is one of obscurity. His mother can't even recall his name. But when a mysterious clockwork man attempts to kill him in modern-day Philadelphia, Charlie finds himself hurtling through time with a stranger. As they navigate the 18th century, they must confront the rules that govern their existence: boys travel into the past, while girls journey into the future. Their mission is complicated by Yvaine, a female time traveler with her own set of problems. With a baby boy in tow and a history of ex-boyfriends, she's not exactly equipped to handle the challenges of the past. As they try to fix historical errors, Charlie and Yvaine must contend with murderous machines from the future, jealous lovers, and reluctant parents. With time itself as their adversary, Charlie and Yvaine must race across the centuries to set things right.
