Description
A convict ship sets sail from England in 1795, bound for New South Wales in Australia. However, its journey is disrupted by a savage storm that miraculously allows it to limp into Sydney Harbour. In the chaos, the convicts rebel and overpower the crew, making their escape and destroying the ship. As they struggle ashore with nothing but the clothes on their backs, the survivors are driven by seething resentments and an appetite for brutal revenge against their former captors. But as they navigate this unfamiliar world of 21st-century technology and social norms, it becomes clear that both convicts and crew have more pressing concerns than simply fighting for survival. In a thrilling epic adventure, Lieutenant Christopher 'Kit' Blaney finds himself at the centre of a desperate struggle between men from different eras, with their values and loyalties torn apart by the unfamiliar demands of modern-day Sydney.
