Description

Those Darn Squirrels! by Adam Rubin is a humorous tale about an old man and his mischievous backyard visitors. A grumpy old man spends his days painting pictures of birds, but they fly south every winter, leaving him lonely. To keep them company, he sets up bird feeders filled with seeds and berries, only to have the squirrels steal the treats. The conflict escalates until the birds leave, and the squirrels come up with a plan that charms the old man. This charming story is part of a series by Adam Rubin and Daniel Salmieri, featuring three funny picture books: Those Darn Squirrels!, Those Darn Squirrels and the Cat Next Door, and Those Darn Squirrels Fly South. With its lighthearted tone and amusing illustrations, this book is sure to bring a smile to a broad range of readers.
