Description
When Trey Alderman, star pitcher for the Gull Island Seagulls, died suddenly during a charity game, it was a shock to everyone who knew him. As it turned out, his death was not as straightforward as initially thought.
The investigation revealed that Trey had been using a combination of substances that could lead to a heart attack under extreme stress. The local investigator suspected that he may have used these substances at the party he attended the previous evening. Alex Cole, a writer who knew Trey, decided to write a book about his life and death, bringing the mystery to the attention of the Gull Island Writers Retreat's Mystery Mastermind group.
This third installment in the Writer's Retreat Mystery Series is a gripping whodunit that explores the complex web of relationships and events surrounding Trey's tragic death. With its unique blend of sports, mystery, and small-town intrigue, this book will keep you guessing until the very end.
