Description

The Queen's Backyard A unique perspective on one of Britain's most iconic events. Set against the stunning backdrop of Windsor Castle, the Royal Windsor Horse Show and Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo is a quintessentially British spectacle that draws international attention. This event showcases four equestrian disciplines, as well as military displays featuring The King's Troop and various regiments from the British Army, Navy and Air Force. The Queen's presence at these events adds a touch of informality to her more formal duties in the Royal Box, as she also takes time to visit members of the regiments and inspect the grounds. This rare glimpse into the 'backyard' of Windsor Castle offers a fascinating insight into the world of equestrian sports and military pageantry. With over 112 pages of photographs, this book provides a comprehensive visual record of these events, capturing the excitement and pageantry of the Royal Windsor Horse Show and Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo.
