Description

The Next Batman: Second Son by John Ridley is a gripping tale that explores the origin of Tim "Jace" Fox, the new Dark Knight. After years away, Jace returns to Gotham City and takes on the mantle of Batman following his father Lucius Fox's decision to take control of the Wayne fortune. This change has significant implications for Jace's relationship with his family, particularly his younger brother Luke, who is secretly the armored vigilante known as Batwing. As Jace navigates his new role, he must confront the consequences of his past and the events that led him away from Gotham City. The story delves into Jace's evolution from a man of mystery to Gotham's newest guardian, raising questions about whether there can be two protectors for one city. This book offers a fresh perspective on the Batman universe, shedding light on a new character and their journey towards becoming the Dark Knight.
