Description
In December 1960, thirteen-year-old Jenny Harper ventured into the caves with her brother Bill and best friend Mike. Their adventure took an unexpected turn when Bill disappeared around a bend, leaving behind only a shimmering light.
Years later, Grandma Jenny shares a mysterious story about a mythical cavern she searched for fifty years earlier with her little brother Bill and their best friend Mike. The tale of a boy who went into the caves in 1910 and emerged three years later, telling of "The Christmas Cave", has been passed down through generations.
When Jack and his sister Amanda visit their Grandma Jenny over the Christmas holiday, they hear this enchanting story for the first time. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they meet Daniel Madsen, a local boy with only months to live, who shares his own experience of entering the caves and discovering a world of amazing colors and lights.
