Description
A young boy loves sirens so much that he imagines himself as one, swimming and playing with fish. One day, while his grandmother is taking a bath, he disguises himself by attaching leaves to his hair, adding flowers, painting his lips, and creating a tail from a curtain. When his grandmother emerges from the bathroom, she is surprised to see him dressed as a beautiful siren. The boy is frightened that she will scold him for dressing up like this, but instead, she surprises him with a gift - a necklace to complete his costume. Together, they attend a traditional carnival celebration where he dances alongside other creatures, including octopuses, jellyfish, and many sirens, just like him. This charming story celebrates the joy of imagination and self-expression, as the boy discovers that being himself is the most beautiful thing of all.
