Description
Roverandom is a charming tale about a dog's magical adventure. In 1925, a young boy lost his beloved toy dog on the beach, and his father created a story to console him. This story, now published for the first time, features a sand-sorcerer, a terrible dragon, and other fantastical creatures. The book is edited and introduced by Christina Scull and Wayne G. Hammond, and includes Tolkien's own delightful drawings. Rich in wit and wordplay, Roverandom is a heartwarming story that has endured for over seventy years. Published in 1998, this paperback edition brings the adventures of Rover to life once again.
