Description

Robert Frank: One Hour is a single-take film shot in 1990. It appears to document a journey, but it was actually scripted and features a cast of actors and crew. The film was first issued by Hanuman in 1992 as part of a re-issue program for Robert Frank's works. The film features a conversation between two men recorded in a diner, which was written by Mika Moses. However, the crucial plot-turning lines spoken by Peter Orlovsky were improvised during filming. This unusual approach to filmmaking is characteristic of Robert Frank's work. C'est Vrai is part of this re-issue program and will also be released as a DVD within Robert Frank: The Complete Film Works.
