Description
Questions Between Identity and Difference by Pia Lauritzen is a thought-provoking exploration of what it means to be human. This scholarly work challenges traditional academic methods, instead drawing on observational studies in classrooms where children from different linguistic backgrounds learn their native languages. The author's own research experience informs this book, which assumes its readers will think critically and engage with complex ideas. The result is a demanding yet generous work that offers insights into the complexities of human identity and difference. By examining various thoughts and behavioural patterns, Lauritzen sheds light on the nuances of human experience, making this book an interesting choice for those looking to explore philosophical perspectives on identity and culture.
