Description
Corning's PYREX glassware was first created in the early 1900s to meet the needs of the American railroad system. However, it was American housewives who drove its popularity, drawn to its recognizable and useful design. This expanded edition of The Unauthorized Collector's Guide explores the evolution of PYREX brand kitchen glass, including clear ovenware, Flameware, laboratory glass, and restaurantware. The book features over 150 additional color photographs, advertisements, and catalog pages, showcasing a wide range of colors that became synonymous with different life milestones. With its comprehensive price and identification guides, this guide is essential for anyone looking to buy, sell, or collect PYREX glassware.
