Description
Playlunch Five Short New Zealand Plays by Christine Prentice and Lisa Warrington is a collection of informal one-act plays suitable for a wide range of audiences. Written for lunchtime theatre, these short plays offer an opportunity to experiment with scripting and characterisation. First published in 1996 and now updated, this book features established New Zealand writers who have created a variety of perspectives and performance styles. The condensed form of the plays makes them ideal for directors, performers, and audiences alike, providing 'adventures in theatre' for both the writer and the reader. These five short plays are an excellent choice for anyone interested in exploring the world of New Zealand theatre or looking to add some new material to their repertoire.
