Description
No Transfer by Stephen Walton In the ultra-prestigious Modern University, students are guaranteed powerful and high-paid positions upon graduation. The school's fifty-story high-rise tower is self-contained, with everything students need - classrooms, restaurants, shopping, and bars - all within reach. However, there's a catch: once you start, you can't drop out or transfer to another school. Behind the school's glossy exterior lies a macabre secret, a method of ensuring students perform to the best of their ability. For one young student, Gary Fort, witnessing this truth sparks a desire to fight back. The suspense builds until the chilling conclusion. First published in 1967, No Transfer is a gripping horror story that satirizes modern education. This reprint includes a new afterword by the author, written at age 20 while he was a student.
