Description

Lost Cirencester offers a fascinating visual journey through the last 100 years of the town's history. From its Roman roots to the present day, this book reveals the changing face of Cirencester through a series of archive images.

Through black-and-white and colour photographs, readers can discover the buildings, streets, parks, and activities that once defined the town. The book also explores the community's lesser-known spectacles, such as flying circuses and high-wire acts, as well as its associations and clubs that held it together in both good times and bad.

Featuring a mix of familiar and forgotten aspects of Cirencester's history, this engrossing visual chronicle will be of interest to residents and visitors alike.
