Description
Desmond Morris's surrealist poetry has been a rare and lesser-known aspect of his work, with only 80 poems surviving from the past seven decades. Now, for the first time, these poems are collected together in a single volume, accompanied by a recent suite of paintings created during the final quarter of 2013.
This unique collection brings together Morris's surrealist writings and visual art, offering a fascinating glimpse into his creative process and artistic range. With over 2500 paintings to his name, Morris is renowned for his work in this field, but his poetry has long been overlooked until now.
